Getting along through disagreement is never easy. Preserving the freedom to think and learn and grow comes with a cost. But what if the disagreement itself is valuable for us? What if the cost of freedom isn’t what we expect? And how can we all become the kinds of citizens who know how to disagree without it destroying us?
Robert George and Cornel West are coming together as friends who disagree for a conversation on this important topic moderated by Rick Warren. George, West, and Warren are internationally recognized leaders from three very different communities who don’t see eye to eye on everything, but have the same fundamental concern for truth and justice.
This event was co-sponsored by Torrey Honors Institute and the Biola University Center for Christian Thought.
